Dear Friends, last week was quite sensational, remarkable. What we noticed for India's favour was the sharp reversal in Crude Oil and Brent Oil prices, followed by USDINR appreciation. Despite trade wars Indian core markets have held on. Thanks to the Domestic inflows, the problem or concern is the deterioration in Midcaps, Small caps etc., where people have been frustrated those who are holding Direct Equity. However those who are holding Mutual Funds or ULIPS, the fund managers have done a good job, even our Bajaj Midcap fund last week has been stable to positive, while their other funds are also doing good. So what next, why this carnage, well people in the markets are not interested for Direct Equity, because of the Election ahead for 2019. People have apprehensions will the GOVT win or not, And since Jan 2019 till July 2019 there has been so much of wealth destruction, many of them had to offload their holdings due to losses. Going ahead, we see inflation to come down ahead, with downward pressure on Oil Prices, the interest rates will already not go up, Monsoon started on a good note. So friends these next 8 to 10 months would be more of an accumulation phase for quality Midcaps, small caps, and good funds and SIP also. We from do advice to stay away from market noise and just focus on wealth creation. Note sure which GOVT will come to power, but my sense Shri.Modi should be the next PM, but even though if we don't get him, the opposition will join make merry and again collapse in 2 years. And markets have delivered 16 percent returns irrespective of any GOVT , Bajaj Midcap funds have delivered 16 percent CAGR . So our fund holders need not worry or panic. In fact those who have faith in funds and Indian economy, this is again an opportunity. We have some interesting ideas how do go ahead for wealth generation. Those who want to know, can come ahead, we can have a 1 on 1 meet and explain you all. There could be a little risk element. But without risks we cannot do wealth generation. We can only do fixed deposits which are taxable. Kind regards from Nilesh Dedhia.
